Novice Rules


Hint 1 of 15:
Once you get the hang of it, this puzzle is addicting.

Hint 2 of 15:
After the curtain rises Rathbone will say the name of the symbol as it moves
along the queue above the tile board.

Hint 3 of 15:
Click on any empty square and it will appear as a tile.

Hint 4 of 15:
You can only put a tile on an empty square.

Hint 5 of 15:
The point of the puzzle is to match up to five symbols (a pentode) at a time.

Hint 6 of 15:
When you make a match, the tiles disappear and the squares are empty again.

Hint 7 of 15:
Just be careful and don't get boxed in.

Hint 8 of 15:
You will be able to guage your progress by the clock in the upper left hand
corner.

Hint 9 of 15:
There are four plaques on the floor, Sign Language, Greek, Elements and Roman
Numerals.

Hint 10 of 15:
You must choose the one which most suits you to be able to get the most fun
out of Pentode.

Hint 11 of 15:
When you match two symbols the clock will begin.

Hint 12 of 15:
Once you reach 12:00 the puzzle is solved and you're on your way to healing
Dr.Brain's brain.

Hint 13 of 15:
The clock will move faster when you match three symbols, even faster with
four and the hands really move if five are matched.

Hint 14 of 15:
If you want a hint from Dr.Elaina, the curtain will drop down over the board
and she will offer some insightful tidbit.
